  Dr. Lagatutta was very pleasant the one time in the last two years I had the joy of being seen by him. He is a really nice guy and I am sure if I could get in touch with him he would help me. Dr. Sam Safee at his San Luis Obispo Higuera street office is dangerously out of touch with my condition. I have a degenerative condition and after a re-injury with extreme pain he diagnoses a muscle spasm but did not prescribe antispasmodics or discuss anything with me.. At my third visit, which the main office set saying I should be seen immediately, he just said "I can't see you everyday" in front of another patient who seemed bothered by his response. I thought he was joking but no, he simply said "No More Meds" without giving me any alternative to control my pain. The poor nurses, obviously disturbed by his actions and fearful what yet another patient in pain would say when told to go away, one came and delivered the news that he would not see me and there would be no medications. OK so now I am going to grit my teeth and bear the pain. When it becomes unbearable I will return to the emergency room thus jacking up everyones healthcare rate just because one doctor is so incompetent. I am headed towards a wheel chair and already live by the rules my pains sets down for me
